Ceramic Bird Wall Art

These ceramic Tūī and Pīwakawaka are individually handmade and hand painted by me in my studio in Aotearoa. Each bird has its own shape and character, with the artwork painted and hed directly onto the clay.

The birds have a softly curved form rather than sitting completely flat against the wall, giving them more of a sense of life and of flying across the wall.

The matte black and white finish gives them a simple, graphic quality that works beautifully on their own or displayed together. Choose your bird

Every bird is made by hand, from shaping the clay through to painting and finishing. I don't use moulds or mass-produced transfers, so each one is an original piece.
