Rider, named after ‘Horse, Rider, and Clown’, an iconic artwork by Henri Matisse featuring a purple horse, lends his moniker to our Chelsea boot, a perennial favourite with an elevated, cuban heel and distinct square-tip toe. From the signature purple Deadly Ponies woven pull tabs, to her calf leather sole with embossed DP marque, Rider boot bears all the hallmarks of an enduring classic, including elastic inserts to provide comfort and ease. Designed by Creative Director Liam Bowden, and crafted in the shoe-making capital, Portugal, our Rider boot takes a dramatic stroll with a sumptuous calf leather exterior, and supple lamb leather inner, responsibly tanned by certified Leather Working Group partners.
