Simply Spring Quilt Pattern by Ngaire Montgomery-Williams

This quilt is a mixture of hand work and machine work. 6½" blocks using 100% wool felt to hand stitch (applique) and embelish and machine pieced blocks, then it is put together with a sashing of Essex Linen metallic and Kaffe Fassett Noir Spot.

I am using 100% wool felt, cotton and Eleganza Embroidery Threads to do the embellishments and the applique. This is a great quilt to make if you want to get into doing some Wool Felt Applique and Hand Embroidery. It is such a lovely project to do in the evenings. The blocks are 6½" square, a great size to manage while watching your favourite TV programme over the winter.

Measurements of the quilt is 70" x 70"
