Donna Doolittle's Animal Rescue Kaitaia

In 2018 the rescue became a registered non-profit charity, expanding every year in all aspects of animal rescue of dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, pigs, sheep, goats, birds, rabbits , with hundreds of animals being adopted throughout the whole of New Zealand North and South each year to approved families.

Today the Doolittle’s have three vehicles on the road out in the community supporting families and their animals with food, parasite control, bedding, desexing, microchipping and vaccinations. We run all year-round desexing campaigns, event days, visit schools to educate, fundraise, advocacy and respond to emergency situations. This is all done by an immediate team of dedicated volunteers that share the same passion as Donna.
