Manu Bird Large Pounamu Pendant

Carved from New Zealand pounamu, this unique Manu (bird) pendant embodies the spiritual significance of birds in te ao Māori. Seen as messengers between the physical and spiritual worlds, manu symbolise guidance, freedom, and wairua (spirit). They also represent matakite (foresight) and remind us of our connection to nature and ancestry. As a taonga, it holds its own mauri (life force), to be worn close to the heart. It comes with an adjustable, handwoven 4-plait black cord.
