Kahurangi Pounamu Stud Earrings in 9k Gold

A pair of Kahurangi pounamu studs in 9k gold. Full round cabochons of soft moss green, gripped by eight fine claws that draw the gold up around the curve of each stone.
The stone is cut and polished in Greymouth, on the West Coast, and set by Malcolm Shale, a second-generation jeweller who has worked stone and jewellery since 1970.
