Kawakawa Pounamu 9ct Gold Stud Earrings

A pair of round Kawakawa pounamu cabochons, claw-set in 9ct gold studs. The polish brings up the deep, even green of the stone.

The stone is cut and polished in Greymouth, on the West Coast, and set by Malcolm Shale, a second-generation jeweller who has worked stone and jewellery since 1970.
