9ct Gold Pounamu Small Oval Pendant

An oval dark Kawakawa pounamu cabochon, claw-set in 9ct gold on a fine gold chain. The stone is a deep, even forest green, worked to a high polish.

The stone is cut and polished in Greymouth, on the West Coast, and set by Malcolm Shale, a second-generation jeweller who has worked stone and jewellery since 1970.
