Notched Medium Toki Pounamu Pendant

Carved from pounamu, this one-off medium Toki is a long, slender adze in rich green, clouded with smoky dark tones near the top. Three drilled holes run down one side, each paired with a carved notch along the edge.

The Toki is worn for strength, determination and courage. Its notches traditionally represent whakapapa, and today may also stand for whānau or loved ones. Finished on an adjustable black hand-plaited cord and presented in an eco-friendly box with meaning and care cards.
