Toki Raukaraka Large Pounamu Pendant, Brown Binding

Carved in our Arrowtown workshop from Raukaraka pounamu, this one-off size large Toki features warm yellows threaded through light greens, beautifully highlighting the natural beauty of Aotearoa's pounamu.

The Toki takes the form of the traditional adze, worn as a mark of strength, determination and courage, carrying the mana of its wearer. Once an essential tool for Māori and traditionally worn by rangatira as a sign of power and wisdom, it endures as a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity.

Finished on an adjustable brown cord and presented in an eco-friendly box, accompanied by cards detailing its meaning and care, a truly cherished taonga.
