Basalt Small/Medium Porowhita Pendant

Carved from basalt by Alex Sands, a size small/medium Porowhita in deep black. Basalt is a dark volcanic rock, and here its polished face is worked with hand tooled dimples that gather into the unfurling curve of a koru within the circle.

The Porowhita takes the circle form and is worn for life's continuous cycle, a lifelong journey of self-discovery and renewal. Finished on an adjustable black cord and presented in an eco- friendly box with cards detailing its meaning and care.
