Carved from New Zealand Inanga pounamu, this Porowhita pendant symbolises Rā / Sun and celebrates Tama‑nui‑te‑rā, the great sun of te ao Māori. The circular form mirrors the sun’s daily journey, symbolising warmth, growth, and māramatanga (enlightenment). In Māori tradition, the sun brings mauri (life force), guides navigation, and marks the passage of seasons.
