Notched Toki Medium Pounamu Pendant

Carved from Hapopo pounamu, this medium Toki carries deep olive-green tones with three notches cut cleanly into one edge.

The Toki takes the form of the traditional adze, worn as a mark of strength, determination and courage. Its notches carry whakapapa, the passing of wisdom between generations and today may also stand for whānau members or loved ones.
Finished on an adjustable brown hand-woven cord and presented in an eco-friendly box with cards detailing its meaning and care.
