Tangiwai Large Kōuma Pounamu Pendant

Carved from Tangiwai Pounamu by Jeremy Walsh (Ngāti Rōrā me Ngāti Maniapoto). A size large Kōuma breastplate spanning wide in deep olive green with darker shadowing through the stone, lashed to the cord through five drilled holes along its top edge.

The Kōuma breastplate is worn over the chest for protection and wellbeing: personal armour and nurtured values. Finished on an adjustable tan cord, plaited by hand, and presented in an eco-friendly box with cards detailing its meaning and care.
