Jupiter Rising

Original Medium: Acrylic and metallic detail on round canvas

In , layers of earth, light and metallic copper sweep across the circular canvas like the surface of an unknown planet. Burnished rust and deep charcoal cut through expanses of chalky white and stone, creating a landscape that feels simultaneously terrestrial and celestial.

The round format gives the work an unmistakably planetary presence, while flashes of copper catch the light and shift with their surroundings. Raw, layered and expansive, sits somewhere between an abstract landscape and a view into another world.

Created for the ABA Spring 2026 Collection, bold, elemental and otherworldly, a statement piece with warmth, texture and luminous depth.
