Davies Craig, Digital Thermatic Fan Switch With 1/8" NPT Sensor, DC-0448
The Davies Craig Digital Thermatic Fan Switch Kit is designed for Thermatic Electric Fans, EWP® electric water pumps, and competitor fan models. This advanced digital fan switch allows for adjustable temperature control to optimize engine cooling, ensuring the engine operates within the ideal temperature range. The kit can be used for both 12V and 24V applications (with relay modifications for 24V) and includes an LED digital temperature display that shows the current and set temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The sensor can be placed in the radiator fin section or directly into the coolant system (with the Temperature Sensor Adaptor Kit, Part #317-DC-0409). The switch activates the fan(s) based on the preset temperature, with an additional 10-second delay before starting a second fan (if applicable). This versatile kit works both thermally and when the air conditioning is in operation, ensuring optimal cooling performance.

If used with EWP® electric water pumps, the kit will turn the pump on/off at the set temperature, not vary the speed.
For EWP® control, Part #8001 is recommended, as it manages both the EWP and Thermatic Fans.
