When paired with an LCD EWP®/Fan Digital Controller (sold separately, Part #8002 or combo #8970), this pump can manage both the EWP® and Thermatic® fan operation. The Digital Controller adjusts the EWP® speed based on the engine’s coolant temperature. Multiple settings are available on the controller, allowing you to prioritise either maximum power or fuel efficiency.
The Thermatic® Fan will activate automatically when the engine coolant rises 3°C (5.4°F) above the set temperature. Additionally, the Digital Controller will continue to run the system for three minutes (or until the coolant temperature drops 10°C/14°F below the set point) after the engine shuts down, eliminating heat soak and enhancing engine longevity.
