Sharpening Steels are designed to keep your knife safe, as a blunt knife is a dangerous knife more prone to slipping when cutting.

Use on a regular basis passing the blade down the whole length of the steel at 20-degree angle for German knives 4 to 5 strokes per side of the blade alternating on each stroke. Made in Germany.
