The real deal. The flagship of Olivier Techer's estate. The right bank appellation of Pomerol is world re-known for the quality of its soil and the land of Merlot variety being led by the all time leader of Chateau Petrus.

The average age of the vines at Chateau Gombaude Guillot is about 60 years old. Planted on a typical Pomerol terroir of gravel and clay. not far from the Blue Clay soil, the estate has been cultivating Biodynamic since 2006.

The wine is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, raised for 12 to 15 month in barrel with the odd use of concrete tank and amphora depending of the vintage.
