Like the Quintessence, this selection systematically includes the two grape varieties Malbec and Merlot, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon. Fleshy and long on the palate, aromas of black fruits will mingle, especially as they age, with notes of blond tobacco and cocoa.
About the Chateau:
Chteau La Grolet is a 17th century manor house that occupies a valley floor surrounded by its 50 hectares, 38 of which are vineyards, the rest being natural meadows, forests, streams and springs. The Hubert family acquired the estate in 1997 and immediately began the total conversion of the estate to Biodynamics. These steep hillsides of clay-gravel terroir are planted with Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc and Malbec.
This exceptional environment of incredible biodiversity allows us to produce complex and pure wines.
