Native to the damp meadows and forest edges of the Eastern United States and Southeastern Canada. Veronicastrum is an elegant plant with whorls of green lanceolate leaves and tall upright and graceful spikes of creamy white flowers from mid to late summer. Plants are very hardy but do prefer moisture in full sun or light shade. very attractive to pollinators and useful as a cut flower.
