Deeply coloured with aromatics hinting at black fruits, dried herbs, cocoa and cedar. The flavours typical of Gimblett Gravel Merlot blends tend towards fruitcake, cherry, chocolate and oak spice.

This is dark fruited and complex wine. Flavours tend towards plum, dark cherry, blackberry with a spicy Malbec orientated note. Earthy tobacco and cigar box notes add further complexity.

This is a deeply coloured and aromatic wine representing the best of the harvest. It displays notes of red fruits, plums, pepper and spice with a subtle oak complexity. It is full bodied and very rich, but the natural acidity so typical of Gimblett Gravels Syrah gives the wine freshness and length. Only a small quantity was produced.Perfect with rich red meats and game.

This is a very ‘varietal’ wine, displaying classic Hawkes Bay Syrah notes of plums, blackberries, pepper and exotic spice notes with subtle oak integration. It is a medium bodied and food friendly style with excellent ageing potential.
