Southward are well known for their gins and vodka. Finally we are getting to try her whisky which has been her dream. Maple Rye has a Canadian influence which is what you would expect from Frankie ( Canadian). The initial wave of maple syrup sweetness engulfs the taste buds, accompanied by the richness of toffee and butterscotch. The interplay between the sweet and spicy elements is a dance of harmony, as the rye grain brings forward its characteristic warmth and depth.
