Rendered in rich in layers of golden red hues, High Country Dawn features an old bus seemingly stuck permanently in place at Poolburn Dam.
Poolburn Dam is nestled in a vast rolling landscape of unusual rock formations and is a popular spot for trout fishermen to spend some time trying their luck. The landscape was tinged in frost from a clear -11 degree autumn night and was completely peaceful as the dawn broke.
This elevated reservoir is situated on the Ida Valley side of the Rough Ridge Range in Central Otago.
