World War II Sweetheart Brooch in Tortoiseshell

Very collectable sweethearts brooch - made in Fiji in 1942.

WWII soldiers made these brooches from tortoiseshell and sterling silver and sent them back home to their sweethearts!

Signed DMH on the reverse. 4 x 4 cms.

Could be converted to a pendant.
