These rugs are handcrafted by the women of the various tribes of Morocco and can take a few months to a year to complete. Each tribe has a particular style craft and the rugs are given the name sake of these tribes ie Boujaad.

Boujaad rugs o ften have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft yet striking pieces are produced with soft wool using mostly natural food with dyes, henna and indigo.

Colours are often - pinks, red, purples and oranges. Each rug is individually handcrafted and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections.

These vintage Boujaad rugs, often 20–60 years old, were made to withstand life on the sand. Their quality is exceptional—you won’t be disappointed.
