King Cage Universal Support Bolt

The Universal Support Bolt (USB) is the perfect solution for attaching bike accessories in versatile locations. Use it to mount a cage where there’s no brazon or insufficient mounting points. It also works great as an additional support bolt for our Manything Cage. The sizing accommodates the maximum diameter for secure installation.

All USB's are 8mm wide, with metric M5 x 0.8 bolts. During installation we suggest using electrical tape or cloth rim strip to protect the frame or fork legs. Rubber inner tube will lead to clamp breakage. Tighten clamp after use.

5 sizes, all sold individually:

- 28mm (1 1/8") for smaller tube applications
- 34mm (1 3/8") for steel frames and forks
- 40mm (1 5/8") for 32mm stanchion suspension forks,
- 50mm (2") for aluminium tube bikes, 34/35/36mm stanchion suspension forks,
- 56mm (2 1/4") for bikes with larger tubes

Note:

- This support bolt is not compatible with the Salsa EXP Cage due to the thickness of the plastic.
- They don't work on well tapered forks. With the taper, if the bolt loosens even a small amount it will slides down and can be a hazard.
