The Essence optical compressor is a module that fits into the API format 500 series frames and features the Buzz Audio True Class A discrete amplifiers and hi-spec Lundahl input and output transformers. It exhibits the same smooth compression characteristic as our rack mount opto compressors for both recording and mixing applications.
