A beautifully sweet and complex Riesling from a Grand Cru of Oberhauser Brucke, in German's Nahe. This special 'monopole' vineyard (owned solely by Donnhoff) lies on a steep bank of loess/loam over slate facing south-west over the river. Here low fertility, high drainage and an ideal micro-climate creates a richly honeyed and complex whites. Incredible stuff, the Brucke Auslese is delicious now but would enjoy an almost endless life in cellar. Buy
