Fontenay Stepped Arch Full-Length Mirror | 200 x 100cm

Four Rings, Three Steps
The Fontenay frame is built from four concentric rings, each one stepping up toward the glass so the innermost ring stands highest. Run a hand across the 12cm face and you climb three small steps from the outer edge to the mirror. Under daylight the steps catch light on their tops and hold shadow in their corners, so the frame changes through the day in a way a flat frame never does. Plain matte white keeps all the attention on that profile.

White That Holds Its Own
At 200 x 100cm with a true half circle arch, the Fontenay has the scale of a doorway and needs a generous stretch of wall. The matte white finish carries that size quietly, so a bedroom, hallway or living room gains a focal point without a heavy block of colour, and it sits as easily with warm timber and linen as with a painted wall. The interest is in the profile, which is why it settles into so many rooms.

Hang It Or Lean It
Two brass keyhole hangers are fitted to the rear for wall mounting. Wall mounting needs solid fixings in a wall that can take the weight; if in doubt, have an installer fit it. Leaned against a wall on its flat bottom sill, it becomes a generous head to toe dressing mirror with the frame doing the decorating. As with any large leaning mirror, a discreet wall tether is a sensible addition in a busy household. At 39kg, moving it safely is a two person job.
