Brandberg Amethyst is very rare as it is found only in one place throughout the world.

Country of Origin: Namibia. The Amethyst mines are actually located 35 kilometers west of Brandberg Mountain, in the nearby Goboboseb mountains. The name Brandberg is used because it is known worldwide, but the actual mountain is protected and mining is forbidden.
