Perfectly ripe Sangiovese harvested from the Osawa vineyard on the Mangatahi terraces. Destemmed berries filled an Hungarian amphora half way and then 20% whole and hand plunged during fermentation and sealed up on full skins and seeds for 150 days. Finally pressed to one aged oak barrel and a clay

It’s all in the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Aromas of dark, wild berries, crushed autumn leaves and integrated oak. This characterful wine has intense blackcurrant with power and long graphite tannins. The quintessential ‘iron fist in a silk glove’. 380 bottles produced.

Perfectly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Cornerstone was hand plunged during fermentation and then pressed to five fine, French oak barrels for 12 months. Aromas of wild berries, bramble and cedar and an intense palate of brooding dark fruit with power and seductive, ripe tannins.

Italian blend of Marzemino and Teroldego, whole bunch fermented and aged in a single oak puncheon. Redcurrants and blackberry with savoury notes and delicate violet aromas.

A blend of Chardonnay from the legendary Lyon’s and Osawa vineyards in Hawke’s Bay.  The Lyon’s provides a field blend of Mendoza, c. lone 15 and 95 Chardonnay. Osawa is a cooler site and planted in clone 95. Aged for 14 months in seasoned French oak barrels.

Arneis and Pinot Gris sourced from the Dolce Vista vineyard. Hand harvested Arneis barrel fermented and aged. Pinot Gris fermented on skins and then pressed to seasoned oak.
