Are you acquainted with the Holy Spirit?

You should be. Your life depends on Him. All life comes to be and survives by the breath of His power. Every blade of grass that grows, every flower that blooms, every tree that buds, every insect that crawls, every bird that flies, every animal that moves and every human being that breathes owes a debt of gratitude to the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit works through nature, controls nature, but is superior to nature. The statement that Paul made to the Areopagites on Mars Hill about the unknown God is true about the Holy Spirit: Acts 17:24-25 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives life to all, breath, and all things.

Not only does the Holy Spirit give life to every human being, He gives breath to his lungs, palpitation to his heart, food for his stomach, digestion for his body, hearing to his ears, taste to his tongue, smelling to his nostrils, seeing to his eyes, and feeling to his touch.
