Binders Mull

This bookbinders mull is an open weave cotton cheesecloth fabric with a stiffened starch sizing.

Commonly used for lining spines in bookbinding and connecting cover boards, it is also ideal for folding into small pads for cleaning lithography stones and intaglio plates. This fabric is also known as crash and tarlatan.
