More of a mid-grey colour, and this is a light denim heading towards a chambray. Would make a great denim skirt, or light pants if you don't want the weight of a proper denim

Definitely wash first in case there is any shrinkage and definitely wash separately for a few washes as there is bound to be dye leakage
