Flow State NZ Lion's Mane Tincture (Hericium novae-zelandiae) is a cousin to the lion’s mane we all know and love – Hericium erinaceus. With a globe-like body and coral-like spines cascading down its body, it is a sight to see! Grown and produced by our mates at Marama's Mushrooms, this tincture is a dual extraction of New Zealand's own Pekepeke-kiore (Hericium novae-zealandiae). The dual extraction process entails a six week alcohol extraction using organic alcohol from Puhoi Organic Distilleries, and a double hot water extraction. The purpose of these two processes is to pull out the water soluble and water insoluble constituents out of the mushroom. It's stated that Hericium novae-zelandiae may hold the same brain supporting benefits as its cousin.
