Shore - Mixed Set of 4 Glass Coasters

Inspired by the meeting place of land and sea, SHORE captures the quiet poetry of the our coastline in glass. Each handmade coaster holds a different texture from nature’s edge: Sand reflects the softness beneath your feet, Ripple traces the shifting patterns of water, Strata reveals the layered story of earth itself, and Punakaiki echoes the distinctive limestone forms of Aotearoa’s iconic Pancake Rocks.

Together, they speak of time, tide, and texture — a celebration of the landscapes that shape us.

Our glass pieces are individually handmade, using glassworking methods developed over centuries.

Textures and motifs drawn from our New Zealand and Pacific heritage are hand sculpted into forms and kiln-fired. Glass is then fired over these forms, and as the kiln temperature rises, the glass softens and slumps into the mold, capturing the finest of details in a negative bas-relief.

Our coaster edges are curved and softened by the kiln to be gentle on surfaces, and each coaster is fitted with 4 rubber feet to prevent slipping and provide a further heat barrier to protect your table tops.
