The ideal temperature for steaming or frothing milk is between 65 and 70℃ (Indicated on the dial), above 70℃ and the milk may burn and ruin the taste, below 65℃, and the drink maybe too cold, ideally the probe should be at least half way in the milk. The thermometer can be used for any liquid. Do not immerse the thermometer in water, simply wipe clean.
