Bone Manaia Earrings

Size of the bone part only: 45mm x 26mm

This bone carving earring is a beautiful piece of Māori jewelry. These Māori earrings have been handcrafted from beef bone. Each carving is s upplied loose in a cellophane bag. As each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur.

Black stained kowhaiwhai markings on the white bone with pāua eyes on the Manaia.

The Manaia is a symbol of protection and acts as a guardian against evil.
