Jade Manaia Hook Pendant

This jade pendant is a beautiful piece of Māori jewellery. This large Manaia has beautiful detail. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or souvenir. This Māori necklace is strung on a traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. Each carving is s upplied loose in a plastic bag. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur.

The Manaia is a symbol of protection and acts as a guardian against evil.
