This bone carving is a beautiful piece of Māori jewelry. This hand-carved Tiki is holding a Patu and has Pāua shell eyes. Supplied loose in a cellophane bag. Each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur.
The Tiki represents the human form and one's ancestors. Traditionally passed from parent to child or used for protection and good luck. The Patu that the Tiki is holding is a Maori weapon in the form of a short club made of stone or bone.
