The 14-pin cartridge utilises finer needles (0.16 mm) and a larger treatment footprint due to its circular needle plate (7.38 mm diameter). In combination, this results in a higher density of needle penetration per pass.
As a result, clients may experience an increased sensation during treatment, and transient skin responses such as erythema may be more pronounced with the 14-pin configuration.

For practitioners, these differences are not inherently negative but should be taken into consideration when selecting treatment parameters. Adjustments to technique, speed, depth, and number of passes may be appropriate to maintain client comfort and achieve optimal outcomes.
