Each Baijiu from Fenjiu has a completely different personality, spiriting you away to a different place. Qinghua Blue Flower 20 Year Old evokes a breeze over arable farmland, orchards filled with apples, pears and greengages, aniseed balls, tomato vines, honeysuckle, chamomile tea, oyster shells, dried flowers, candied orange peel and an umami combo of Marmite, walnuts and dried mushrooms. It makes for an exceptional aperitif to get the juices flowing before dinner, but we also think it would make refined Martini-style cocktails with a savoury edge, or a great partner to noodles, wild mushrooms, Italian sausage flecked with fennel seeds, or pork and apple sauce.
