Battery Basic Check

Concerned about the health or performance of your e-bike or e-scooter battery? E-Mega’s provides a professional diagnostic assessment designed to give you a clearer picture of your battery’s condition and identify potential electrical or performance issues.

Our technicians test key battery parameters and provide a written E-Mega Battery Diagnostic Report documenting the results. What’s Included

The may include:

- Battery voltage testing
- Battery capacity assessment
- Controlled discharge testing
- Load testing under different power levels
- Voltage-drop measurement
- Internal resistance assessment
- Battery Management System (BMS) checks
- Charge and discharge protection checks
- Review of battery configuration, including series and parallel cell arrangement where identifiable
- Technician findings and recommendations
- Written E-Mega report Why Test Your Battery?

A battery can still charge and power your bike while suffering from reduced capacity, excessive voltage sag, abnormal resistance or BMS-related faults.

Diagnostic testing can help identify whether the battery is:

- Performing normally
- Showing signs of degradation
- Suffering from a possible BMS fault
- Experiencing excessive voltage drop
- Suitable for further investigation, repair or repacking
- Better suited to replacement Battery Health & Capacity

Lithium batteries naturally lose capacity as they age and complete charge cycles. A helps establish the battery’s current condition and performance at the time of testing.

The test does not guarantee future battery life or that every internal fault can be identified without further disassembly or specialist investigation. Price

– $150

Diagnostic testing only. Repairs, replacement parts, battery opening, cell replacement, balancing, repacking or other additional work are not included and will only be undertaken after discussing the options and costs with you. E-Bike & E-Scooter Battery Specialists – Christchurch
