Vase // Shiitake

Crafted from a refined blend of stoneware and porcelain, these hand-thrown vases are made in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, by ceramicist Kirsten Dryburgh.

This piece, named Shiitake, features a soft cream and earthy glaze inspired by the shiitake mushroom. Traditionally cultivated on fallen timber in Japan, the mushroom informs both the tone and character of the glaze. The result is a vessel that embodies the warmth and grounded beauty of natural materials, making it a thoughtful addition to any considered home.
