Recycled Sari Pot Holders

Pot holder or trivets made from colourful recycled cotton saris in Bangladesh. Made by artisan weavers at an enterprise which was set up to provide alternative employment to former sex workers. The stories of these women's pasts involve abuse, victimisation, trauma, and pain. The weaving work provides safety, stability and Fair Trade working conditions. We love that each of these pot holders are completely unique and have their own personality and history.
