Isla Candle // Komorebi

Created in collaboration with ceramicists in Tajimi, Japan, Provider Store candles are designed with longevity in mind. Once the soy wax burns away, the handcrafted ceramic vessel transforms into a beautiful Japanese tea cup, extending its life well beyond the burn.

Each candle is hand-poured in Provider’s Sydney studio using pure soy wax, with scents inspired by the natural world. The Isla Candle features a dusty pink, textured glaze with hand-painted red detailing. Its scent, Komorebi, a Japanese word describing sunlight filtering through trees, captures the atmosphere of pine forests with notes of hinoki, pine, cedarwood, and soft incense.

Once finished, simply remove the wick, wash with hot soapy water, and enjoy your vessel as a tea cup, vase, or desk tidy.
