2019 Rock Ferry 'The Corners Vineyard' Gruner Veltliner

An organic, single-vineyard wine from Marlborough, New Zealand, this Grüner Veltliner has a complex bouquet of pear drops and kaffir lime with a mineral palate of mandarin oranges, grapefruit and white pepper characters finishing with a crisp acidity.

Winemaking: Fruit for this wine was hand harvested, sorted, and gently whole bunch pressed into stainless steel tank and aged French oak barrels for fermentation. A combination of indigenous and cultured yeasts were used for complexity, with the wine being left on yeast lees for 8 months before bottling.
