2023 Selection Massale Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
A crisp, fresh Sauvignon Blanc with concentration of flavour, great acidity and palate weight.
This wine was inoculated with an organic cultured yeast and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tank to retain its freshness, aroma and purity of fruit. No malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged on lees for 12 months prior to being racked and then filtered before bottling.

"Bright, even, very pale yellow. The nose is distinctive and fresh, with aromas of gooseberry, kaffir lime, grapefruit, elderflower and nettle. Medium-light bodied, aromas of gooseberry entwined with grapefruit, zest, kaffir lime, elderflower and a touch of nettle. Delicately smooth mouthfeel carried by zingy acidity, with good energy, landing a juicy, refreshing closing. Match with fresh-shucked clams and whitefish over the next 3 years. Fermented cool in stainless steel to 13% alc, no MLF, aged on lees for 12 months. Organic certified. 18.5 /20 pts (94 pts)"
2024 Selection Massale Marlborough Pinot Gris
A luscious but dry Pinot Gris with fruit weight, aromatics and texture.
The wine was inoculated with cultured yeast and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tank to retain aroma and purity of fruit. No malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged on lees for 12 months prior to filtration before bottling.

"Bright, even, pale straw yellow. The nose is softly full, with aromas of Nashi pear, apple and blossom. Full-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of NAshi pear melded with apple, five-spice and pear blossom. Excellent palate weight in an oily/ creamy texture, spices elevate along with lively acidity, lending a crisp, appetising finish. Match with smoked warehou and char siu buns over the next 3 years. 2023 Selection Massale Marlborough Chardonnay
A rich, textural Chardonnay with intensity of flavour, structure and balance of oak.
The fruit was hand harvested, wild-fermented in small and large format French oak (approx. 5% new) to achieve a balance of texture and taste. Full malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged on gross lees for 12 months prior to being bottled unfiltered and unfined.

"Bright, even, pale yellow. This has a generous, vibrant bouquet with aromas of stonefruit, citrus, almond shavings and delicate spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of lemon and grapefruit melded with nectarine, almond shavings, spice and Greek yoghurt. The round/ creamy mouthfeel flows effortlessly with tangy acid, along with fine-textured phenolics and subtle almond hints to a dry, long finish. This Chardonnay is forward and elegant, with lovely palate weight and texture. Match with prawns and fish over the next 3-4 years. Handpicked, wild-fermented in small and large format French oak (approx 5% new oak), underwent full MLF, aged on gross lees for 12 months. Unfined, unfiltered. 2024 Selection Massale Central Otago Pinot Noir
A plush, red-fleshed Pinot Noir from Bendigo, Central Otago. Bright, crimson red in appearance with sweet, juicy red fruits on the palate. Blackberry, Morello cherry and cacao dominate. Soft and supple mouthfeel with a long, persistent finish. Delicious and approachable now, but will continue to gain complexity over the next 4-5 years.
The fruit was hand harvested, with a small portion of whole bunches, and wild-fermented in stainless steel tank where it was gently macerated for four weeks before being pressed into aged French oak barriques where it underwent full malolactic fermentation and aging on lees for 16 months before being bottled unfiltered and unfined.
