2023 Paul Jaboulet Aîné Viognier

Paul Jaboulet Aîné is an esteemed producer from Tain-l'Hermitage, Northern Rhône, famous for producing brilliant Syrah and Viognier since 1834.

Sourcing fruit from across several appellations (hence the 'Vin de France' classification), this wine is a beautiful, elegant, varietal expression of the classic French favourite that is Viognier ("Vee-on-e-aye").

White florals, stonefruit and sandalwood aromas on the nose, followed by a white peach, granny apple and ripe pear on the palate. This wine is full bodied and weighty yet its acidity keeps things nicely in check.
